그땐 낯설었지
눈 딱 감고 집을
떠나 바다를 건너 이국에
갖가지 피부색에 듣도보도 못한
이름의 사람들이 거리
한복판에 지나다니면서
다를 나를 보던데 oh 이런
내 어색함을 쪽팔리게 들켰네
아무리 계속살아봐도
여긴 너무 달라
뭔가 잘맞지않아도
참 맘에 드는 나라
남에 시선을
맘에 담지않는 인격과
이제껏 얘기로만 듣던
풍경도 좋아
호주란 곳은 캥거루가
집앞에서
뛰어다닌댔었는데 누가
돌아보면 몽롱하고
설레이는 추억뿐인
20개월동안 남은것은
quite lucid
96 97년 Elcue의 전성시대와
그곳의 공기와
사람들이 전해준 쾌감

2002년 10월 이전의 이 곳은
평범한 지하클럽일 뿐이었어 또는
내가 모르던 대구
한 구석의 발견 정도라
여기며 그 기찻길
주위를 걷고 있었나봐
그 열기와의 첫 만남
뒤로 내가 얼마나
변화가 왔나 쳐다봐
Hiphop Train을 계속해
달려나가게 하는
각오를 하나 둘 씩 다져나가는
모습이 지금이야
참 인연의 뜻이란
신기하고도 감사한 투명의 끈이라
생각해 그 안에서 겪는
기나긴 항해가
끝이나지 않는건 둘 이상이 함께
같이 하는 삶이라
시간은 다시 날
변하게 만들겠지만
기차는 달린다는 말이야

항상 그 모습을
내게 보여주겠지

내 인생에 모든 것을
시작하게 된 출발점
내 삶의 작은 변화들을
맞이했던 그 순간도
모든게 그 곳으로부터 시작됐어
21년의 시간이 흘렀지만 계속
그때의 기억들이 잊혀지질 않아
내가 걷던 장소와
또 스쳐 지나친 사람
하나같이 바람같은 모습으로 스쳐간
모습을 뿐이라도
외진 이땅에서 흘러간
시간들 같지만은 않은 많은 추억이
깃들어있어 그래서인지는 모르지만
지금도 이런 내 인생의 목마름을
조금이나마 덜어줄
작은 샘을 찾을 수 있던것 같아
그때 그 장소에
함께 있던 너와 나
아마도 난 그때에
머물고 싶었었나봐
난 영원히 기억하고싶어
그때 그 사람들과
내 발자취가 담긴 그 장소들만
