어느날 신들은 인간의 힘과 반항성에

꽤나 겁을 먹게 되었지
And Thor said

With my hammer like I killed the giants.'
내 망치로 전부 몰살시키리라'
And Zeus said, 'No,
그러자, 제우스가 말했지 '아냐,

Like I cut the legs off the whales
공룡을 잘게 썰어 도마뱀을 만든 것 처럼
And dinosaurs into lizards.'
내 번개를 가위처럼 써줄테니까'
Then he grabbed up some bolts
그러더니 벼락을 몇 개 집어들고
And he let out a laugh,
큰 웃음 한번 내 뱉고는 이렇게 말했어
Said, 'I'll split them right down the middle.
'딱 중간을 쪼개 주리라.
Gonna cut them right up in half.'
정확히 반쪽으로 잘라 주리라.'
And then storm clouds gathered above
그리고는 폭풍이 하늘 위에 모이더니
Into great balls of fire
거대한 불덩이가 되었어
And then fire shot down
그리고는 불이! 벼락이 되어
From the sky in bolts
하늘로 부터 쏘아졌지
Like shining blades
마치 빛나는
Of a knife.
칼날 처럼
And it ripped right through the flesh
찢고 뜯어버린거야

그 불이 태양과

달과
