Rainbow's End Miriam Aida
One day in early spring I walked along a rainbow
Sure that in the end I find a pot of gold
The poets say is waiting there for those
who have the secret eyes to see
Far away into eternity
And as I walked along Looking at the rainbow
How, I wondered, would I bring my gold away
Or would I stay and live among
the lovely colors shining down on me
Resting there until eternity
And if I took away the golden light
Than that would bring about eternal night
And would it make me happy what I found
or would I trade the gold for peace of mind
<Interlude>
And if I took away the golden light
Than that would bring about eternal night
And would it make me happy what I found
or would I trade the gold for peace of mind
And as I walked alone looking at the rainbow
Right before my eyes was what I come to find
A light as bright as any light these eyes of mine
could hope a light might be
And the light was shining constantly
Light no mortal eyes will ever see
For it was the light inside of me
