연필은 내 손끝 위에서 움직여
하얀 종이 위에 꿈들을 그려내
모든 걱정 잠시 지우개로 덮고
마음을 담아 새로운 길을 열어
그러다 어느새 힘이 빠질 때
더 이상 나아갈 기운 없을 때
필통은 연필을 꼭 안아주네
잠시 쉬어가며 다시 가게
고마워 필통 나의 작은 쉼터
나를 감싸주는 포근한 자리
묵묵히 지켜주는 속 깊은 친구
너로 인해 내 마음이 다시 깨어나
마주한 문제들의 거친 벽 앞에
연필은 갈팡질팡 서성대고 있어
그때 너는 조용히 날 부르며
"괜찮아 쉬어 가보자" 했었지
네 안에서 나는 안녕을 느껴
모든 걱정 씻겨 내려가는 듯
마치 밤하늘 별들처럼 빛나는
너의 품속에서 꿈을 꿀 수 있어
