Howling flood
Frostbitten torrent
Mourning deluge

Fruit for the soil
Tears of the heavens
Cloak for the trees
Mask for a despairing face

Brother of thunder
You bring the storm
I wish to fly among clouds
In blissful solitude

To dwell in a downpour
And deliver petrichor
To save forgotten fields
And bless lonely petals
