I was riding on the Jubilee
Cloud when I thought I heard somebody say
Are we passing over Texas
cause it's feeling mighty hot
And the oilrigs are blocking the way
I said it looks just like Nebraska, it's raining down upon the plain
Seems to me I should remember, it was August or September
that I boarded the Jubilee Cloud just to break away
When the Jubilee Cloud came down to the earth
there was no time to pray
but the heaven that we found
on the Jubilee Cloud
was just like a Tennessee day
Well it just don't make no sense at all now
Knowing what I do today
How the world just keeps on going
when I can see it slowing
I tell you now that it was never meant to be this way
